It's not really recommended to do this, as it may be that Co0kie's Home Tab did not upgrade correctly, so there could be genuine conflicts between the editor and the home tab mod, but this is what the editor checks...
HKCU\Software\Manila\HTC:Co0kie.HomeVersion
Set that to 1.7.1 (the first 3 numbers of the version).
The editor will then run, but you need to remember that there could be conflicts. Make sure you export your settings regularly, just in case.
