USB port is toast, what to do before taking to service center

USB port is dead on my Mogul - won't charge with USB cable or wall charger. I have the battery out and charging in my cradle, which is good. I'm taking the device to a sprint repair store tomorrow. I will run a full SPB backup tonight...what else should I pay attention to to minimize downtime/get the most out of the repair? I know some of you guys have needed to do this in the past.
