if you aren't totally savvy about modifing the installer then after you install a game you can use file explorer, go to: /windows/start menu/programs and move or copy the shortcut to /windows/start menu/programs/games
then just delete the game shortcut in /windows/start menu/programs/
unfortunately it's stupidity people that make cabs don't use the proper location to create shortcut (as in games they should be in the games folder). that's why it's there, for a reason
