Nosey, that sounds cool! I might have to try that cab out.

OP, keep in mind the newest stuff with more eye candy and features will require more resources than the older stuff. More processes running requiring more ram, cpu, and battery polling. So naturally you probably won't get the battery life you had with older builds. Never say never though! That's part of the challenge when cooking to try to add new stuff without overloading the hardware.
