Here's a
link that i posted for a 1% battery cab that i used with the new stock rom which works and if you want a battery icon that shows the 1% increments without changing the stock task bar you can use the arielbattery program which you can adjust the colors on, you just have to make a shortcut to your startup folder for auto start up, i used Total commander to make one. Screenshot attached look at the top left corner.
