{Emulator}WP7 Rom image build date: 02/03/2010 Windows Phone 7 build 7.0.0.6077

So, has anybody tried to get this working yet?? Im at work now but I will try later.

Heres your chance to get the feel of the new Windows Phone 7 today!
This is a working emulator for the new Windows Phone 7 operating system.

Long Zheng from the istartedsomething blog reports that the Windows Phone 7 Series emulator ROM has been completely unlocked, allowing users to access the full OS, rather that just the settings and web browser as previously.
Dan Ardelean has published a modified version of the “BIN” file , allowing one to interact with the live tiles, hubs, use the elusive voice search feature, and even the basic apps that are preloaded.
Read more about getting the emulator up and running at XDA-Developers here. Hopefully the real OS will fall as fast as the emulator version has

Windows Phone 7 build 7.0.0.6077--for WP7 emulator only

You will need the following components:

1-Windows Phone 7 build 7.0.0.6077 dump: http://rapidshare.com/files/363836613/dump.rar

2-Visual Studio 10 express:
http://www.microsoft.com/express/Dow...0-Visual-Basic

3-Microsoft Windows SDK for Windows 7 and .NET Framework 3.5 SP1
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

4-Extracted device emulator image: http://rapidshare.com/files/363827826/WM70C1.bin

install these

1. download the bin

2. rename the file to WM70C1.bin

3. go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\WindowsPhone\v7.0\Emulation\Images

4. rename the existing WM70C1.bin to WM70C1_old.bin

5. copy paste the downloaded bin file

I will try this soon and see how it goes. I will post better instructions as soon as I get this working myself. More info to come..
