Hello all I am running neodium wm6.5 sense 2.5

I just ran the weather app update for the first time today and turned on the cool animations.The rom came out of the box with no animation or weather icon on the main screen.

i guess i shouldnt have run the weather app bc i don't really have a need for it and don't care to have an outdated weather icon/animation or want to have it always turn on my data connection and drain battery

So my question is: is there a cab or some way to get rid of the weather icon entirely, not just stop the animation?

I just thought about it better yet, are there any apps that will kill your data connection after a certain amount of time or after it updates or something? My main problem with data connection is the battery drain
