Angry Data connection NOT working :-(

I have a stock Sprint / TP2 and my data connection stopped working (3rd time). This time around I have barely any non-Sprint software installed. Having a lot of stuff installed made trouble shooting impossible before. Settings->System->About->Version reports WinMo 6.1 Pro, CE OS 5.2.21052 (Build 21052.1.6.5). Is this the latest push??

Basically I can make and receive calls and SMS. Just not data connection via the browser or weather application. When I attempt to use either I just get some generic "Network Error" has occurred message. No error codes or anything.

I called support and they updated the profile. Didn't see anything wrong. They passed me through to a technician who was able to confirm that my phone was sending / receiving data, but didn't know why it wasn't working and suggested I visit a Sprint store so they could attach the device to a 'diagnostic' machine (HA!). I brought it to the store and they spent 20 minutes doing basically nothing and told me I need to do a Hard Reset.

I told them to hand the phone back to me and NOT do the hard reset. This would be the 3rd time I'd have to do the reset and I'm more than tired of this BS. They also told me that there was an update available that may help, but would require a hard reset.

I'm looking for suggestions on how to get the phone to use the data connection. All suggestions are appreciated!
