Update:

I called last Sat. and was on phone for about 20 mins. Rep came on and within about 3 mins asked if I wanted to be upgraded to TP2. For all those saying that this is a scam, the rep said that they made this phone to replace the TP1 because of the physical and internal defects.

I received my phone Monday morning btw and I am loving the TP2. All the problems I had with the TP1 are gone and battery life is out of this world.

If you're happy with the TP1 then stay with it but if you have had as many issues as I have then you should try what is in post one - you won't regret it!
