If it's what I think you did, was you disabled the quick menu with that cab. Uninstall that cab and do the reg edits directly instead. I'm not sure of where they are, and I little search would find it quickly. I'm not sure if you can have both the program tab and menu, but I never tried to re enable the programs tab. Never could fill my quickmenu. lol
If you have issues finding the reg edits, just type in Manila Quickmenu (For the start menu) and something about re enabling program tab 'reg edit'. Shouldn't take you no time at all.
Don't forget to put ppcgeeks in the end of it, it'll help filter them to here so you don't get sent to something that won't help.
