Xmas Cash = Plantronics Voyager 855

just picked these things up....
http://www.plantronics.com/north_ame...35/prod5880001

I have a jeep, so I need two ears to hear the caller.

I am actually able to control the music (AVRCP) from the headset. It's pretty cool....It says it will do call control...but I don't have it installed (time to hit the kitchen)

The sound is pretty thin...tinny...but hey, when I'm able to leave the phone in the car, and pump my gas without "missing a beat" the wow factor was pretty high. If I press them into my ears....it sounds great...but that's not too practical.

Update: used the smaller buds and the sound is MUCH better...getting more base now....

Call quality (when it wasn't dropping calls) is OK...again...tinny...but this really is my first BT headset so I don't have anything to compare it to.

About the call dropping....it happens on incoming and outgoing calls....phone connects...goest to headset...gone....

is it the headset? or the phone? There are 100's of threads about bluetooth in this and other forums....

After 4 or five tries...I was able to actually talk to someone...But I don't know what I did.

Overall...I think I'll kep em...I like the idea of being able to have the stereo headset AND a regular headset.
