You say that you found it! It's most likely reported lost or stolen and you won't be able to activate it with Sprint. If that's the case. As for the emergency calls only, try a soft reset or even a hard reset and see if that helps any or even reflash a stock ROM.
There are other ways to reset it but they are best left to experts.
