Delete Google Cache

I have noticed that the "Cache-GLM" file for Google Maps tends to get quite large (5-10-15 MB) over time. The file is found unader Application Data\GoogleMaps.
Other than taking a little longer to load maps I have noticed that manually deleting this file has no other apparent effect on Googe Maps.
Due to how much internal memory this file tends to eat up, especially over lots of Google Maps usage, I would like to know if anyone can figure out a way to either limit the size of the file or have it automatically deleted (maybe on reboots or something)

Maybe if someone could write a script to have this file deleted that would just be placed in the Windows/Startup folder?

Thanks!
