Yes, the O2 came with GPS set to COM 6 but it didn't work for me at that setting. Google Maps, for example, kept getting an immediate "Retry" screen. With GM, letting Windows control and it works. If you manually set, use COM 8 and 57600 baud; same as the Omnia 1. I also checked this with GPSTest and it scanned the COM ports and settled on COM 8 within 5-10 seconds. I'd be curious why Samsung/Verizon delivered these things with settings that don't work for some programs.
Oddly enough, leaving it at Com6 baud 4800 works for me. My igo8 and google maps see it fine.
