Black specks in every picture

I recently acquired a Diamond thanks to a trade with a fellow 'geeker, and I really love it. It's a great little phone, but it's got little black specks in the camera which show up on every picture. I have cleaned the cover lens, I have tried taking the back cover OFF completely, and I have even swabbed the bare camera lens with a q-tip & alcohol, but the specks are still there. Could this be a defect with the camera itself? The specks look pixelated, like they're dead spots in the cmos sensor or something. Would this be grounds for a replacement? This is just my backup phone so it's not that big a deal, but it still bothers me because it takes such beautiful pictures otherwise. The phone is practically new too, it's only got 5 hours on the life timer & it's not a refurb, so I'm surprised it's got such a flaw.
