ok i found its much easier to flash using SD card. But get the SPL updated first. update radio second and then you are ready for the ROM. follow the directions that he lists in the thread above. It looks intimidating at first but it gets more simple as you go along. I actaully found a really great rom from XDA site. Ryans Lite mod i would recommend.
