Think Sprint would replace Mogul with broken USB?

I know there are a few guys out there that work for Sprint and plenty that have dealt with them more than me. Here is my situation:

The Mini USB connector on the bottom of my Mogul somehow managed to get a pin bent and now I can't sync with my computer anymore. To make matters worse, I'm stuck with 2.16 because of this and I'm about to throw this phone at a wall. Does anyone think that Sprint would replace the phone because of this issue, or do you think they will try to blame it on me and say I have to pay to get it fixed? I really have no interest in paying another cent on this phone after it's been so much trouble, and to make matters worse, they promised me a rebate and now it looks like they are trying to say it's not valid either. I am completely fed up with Sprint and this phone. I just want to get a new one and put 2.17 on it and HOPEFULLY not have anymore problems.
