But there are huge improvements in 5.x over 4.x its almost like going from windows xp to windows 7. Besides sms threading, battery life is another huge improvement. Being able to access your themes right from your home screen along with being able to set your wallpaper. And these are some of the things that are noticeable visibly but under the hood there are major changes which make the OS much more stable and snappier than 4.x
