there is slide to play or s2p, and nitrogen, both are free, and if you don't mind shelling out some $, there is also pocket player from conduits.com. youshould be able to make mp3 play as default in the later2 by going to its settings and clicking on those formats, ie .mp3 or .wma. the first one, i don't know, never used it but have seen screenshots, looks preety nice. video plays best in the default players because other players don't take advantage of the hardware usually, best way to make it understandable, but i do use video through coreplayer.
