In cases where I can't choose the Imagio as my device, I generally select TP2/Rhodium.
As far as a registry editor goes, since the Imagio does have a stylus, you can always use Total Commander or PHM Regedit, both of which are free.
I don't use SK Tools for the registry editor, I use it for all the other goodies
