Defective Replacement

My replacement Mogul is developing the same issue as my first one did, a circular spot in the lower left hand corner of the screen that is a different shade than the rest. I got a replacement for that reason, and the replacement's K key on the keyboard only works so-so. Well, the same screen issue is arising on this phone. Problem is, I don't remember how long ago I got the replacement, but I'm pretty sure it's been more than 30 days. Will Sprint give me a replacement seeing as how it's an obvious defect, or will it count as one of my two replacements on my insurance?

Also, how does the insurance work as far as the 2 replacements per year? Is it 2 replacements per calendar year (like 2 for 2007, 2 for 2008, etc), or 2 replacements in any given year (like if you got a replacement in October 2007 and one in March 2008, you cannot get another until October 200?
