Update: 11-23-2009. I Just got this charger today in the mail it puts out only only 480mA MAX thats only 1/2 amp. This is not an oem charger. Its a counterfeit. It Weights only 57 grams = 2 ounces.

Update 4-21-2010 This was a real HTC charger, My touch pro pulls out around 800mA from this charger.
I want to find or
learn how to build a kick *** DC car charger for all of us to hone in on. And rely on. One that won't catch on fire, wont quit working, one that we can all agree is worthy of are $600 phone and will put out more then 1,200mA during heavy use. I am tired of lugging around a DC to AC inverter in my car just so I can plug my AC wall stock charger into it. Many of us don't care about a car charger. But for the rest of us that do we know that most car chargers suck. Maybe
