There have been a few threads on this topic. The vibrator motor failing is a known issue to Sprint as well as HTC.
You should have no problem getting it fixed under the Manfacturer's 1 Year Warranty, although that Year is creeping up fast and may already be here for many of us.
If you got it a few months ago, you won't have an issue.
