While I love the Hero and all the reviews, I am now hesitant to buy one. I have been doing lots of research and it appears these are still 1st gen type devices. Same slow processing and low memory. When Android Eclair 2.0 Os comes out, it will support 3D accelerated gaming and have higher end hardware like the 1ghz Snapdragon. Not sure if it is worth me to get the Hero or wait for Hero II or something similar. I think Android is great but playing with MyTouch 3G and seeing Hero video, it looks bit unpolished and sluggish at times.

But if I cannot resist then oh well, thats life. You know the saying, "Why buy one android, when you can buy two for twice as much!"
