Yeah it's totally weird how this happens. I've had it happen without doing a soft reset & if I go to ##DEBUG and hit talk, I can see in the HDR screen that AN/AAA is not authenticated. Instead there are a bunch of ##-##-##-##-##'s. It definitely not a tower or signal issue. I have both an aircard and another Verizon phone within reach getting EV and I'm in a strong coverage area.
