Question about Cricket PRL and OTA programming

So I successfully unlocked and flashed my first Touch Pro today. Everything is working fine, except I can't get it to OTA program. It downloaded the NAM settings, but stopped at the PRL and told me it was unable to program. I've looked everywhere for the solution, but haven't found one that's worked for me yet. Cricket customer service said I should go to the store to get it programmed, but I don't want to go there and have them do something that messes something else up and not know what they did to be able to fix it myself.
My question to you, fellow geeks, is should I just leave my phone as it is (EVERYTHING is in working order) and maybe go in to the store if I run into any problems, or should I take it in to get programmed? I know I can always reprogram the EPST and edit the registry, but are they gonna change the security locks or something? I just don't want to risk losing functionality if it's something i don't need to do.
