just taking a shot in the dark, but for the past two days i have been able to reliably get a lock in less then a minute, sometimes in less then 5 seconds (up to 10 sats).
i believe this will only work for those of you who (using certain gps programs) can see multiple sats in view, but dont seem to lock onto them..
so give this a try and let me know if it works for anyone else
first off, soft reset just for fun
open google maps
if the gps is already activated and seeking sats, then disable it and close maps, then reopen it
once its open the data arrows will turn white (depending on your ROM i guess) for a few seconds...
wait for them to grey out and the data connection to stop..
after a few more seconds turn on the gps
data arrows should light up again (im guessing this is the agps at work???)
thats it
make sure your outside with a good view of the sky and wait atleast 1-2 minutes
