Probably just from the ROM, I wouldn't worry to much if everything is working. I flashed a ROM once and instead of seeing EV I would see EDGE... lol... Not a problem, just the way the ROM was built.
One reason I try to stick with SSK ROMs, they are tailored more for VZW so you don't have these little oddities...
