It depends on the bluetooth stack you use. I have a toshiba stack and a WIDCOMM stack. I used the instructions at
http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/?page=howto to setup PAN connection via bluetooth to surf the net on my laptop via the network connection on my sprint touch pro. There were a set of PDF files that I used at the same site. You may have to search for them. You get the idea from the instructions on Toshiba stack and can apply the same on the WIDCOMM stack.
